Important notice

Our operations have been disrupted. Due to recent events in Afghanistan, some work is temporarily slower. Afghan Rise is still running - registration stays open and your information remains private.

Operating plan

Built like a real product. Grounded in real Afghan needs.

Afghan Rise is not a slogan site. This is our operating plan: understand the situation on the ground, design safe access, organise teachers and technical volunteers, and fund internet and learning pathways with evidence from the waiting list.

Waiting-list figures are live aggregates only - never names, phones, or exact addresses.

Main goal

Restore safe learning pathways for Afghan girls

First we measure the real situation: who needs access, where they are (province only), what grade they need, and whether internet is missing. Then we match that evidence to teachers, technology, materials, and funding - so every next feature is useful, not decorative.

Access pathways

Private waiting list, Self Study accounts, and Dari/Pashto school books. Designed for low-risk registration and continued learning when school doors are closed.

Teachers & lecturers

Volunteer teachers and lecturers (mathematics, physics, probability & statistics, and more) prepare structured lessons aligned to Afghan curriculum books already on the platform.

Technical systems

Secure forms, encrypted storage, Student ID progress tracking, and product features (books, Self Study coach) engineered so families can use the platform without exposing exact home addresses.

Volunteers & operations

Outreach, finance, legal, and education operations run by unpaid contributors while we stay honest about status and build carefully before formal budgets.

Funding model

Transparent early-stage donations via personal PayPal to the founder - clearly labelled, not hidden. Directed toward internet access, materials, and platform security.

Internet reality

A large share of registered girls report no reliable home internet. That is why internet support is a first-class workstream, not an afterthought.

Delivery phases

From evidence to scale

We sequence work like a serious product organisation: prove the need, pilot support, then expand with stronger governance.

Active now

Next

Phase 2

Matched learning & internet pilots

  • ·Match girls to remote teaching pods by grade and language
  • ·Pilot internet stipends for selected students without connectivity
  • ·Formal local partnerships based on ground research findings

Later

Phase 3

Scaled programme & stronger reporting

  • ·Explore formal UK charity / CIC registration when ready
  • ·Structured donation reporting and annual transparency
