Afghan Rise

Open & honest

Transparency

We are early-stage, volunteer-led, and not yet a registered charity. We believe trust is built by telling you exactly where we are โ€” not pretending to be something we are not.

๐Ÿ“‹

Not a registered charity โ€” yet

Afghan Rise is not registered as a UK charity or non-profit. Mohammad Khalid Ibrahimi is building this platform honestly during an initial phase. Formal registration may follow as we grow.

Personal PayPal during launch

Donations currently go via personal PayPal to our founder โ€” clearly labelled, not hidden behind corporate branding. This keeps us operational while we build.

๐ŸŒ

Ground research in Afghanistan

Our founder is preparing to travel to Afghanistan to research needs on the ground, build local trust, and shape the platform around real conditions โ€” not assumptions from abroad.

Legal & organisational status

Afghan Rise is not a registered charity. We have not registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales, nor as a Community Interest Company (CIC). Mohammad Khalid Ibrahimi operates this initiative personally during an initial research and building phase.

Donations are currently accepted via personal PayPal to Mohammad Khalid Ibrahimi. This is clearly stated on our Donate page. Donations are not tax-deductible at this stage. We may explore formal registration as the platform matures.

Ground research: Mohammad Khalid Ibrahimi is preparing to travel to Afghanistan to conduct on-the-ground research โ€” meeting communities, understanding barriers, and ensuring Afghan Rise reflects real needs rather than assumptions made from abroad.

Volunteers are unpaid. Afghan Rise has no formal payroll or operating budget at launch. Everyone on the team contributes because they believe in the mission.
