Educators, technologists, legal advisors, and community volunteers - all unpaid during this early phase - united by one conviction: every Afghan girl deserves the right to learn safely.
Software engineer with a Master's in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Essex, UK. Research background in early detection of Alzheimer's disease. Social activist and the architect behind Afghan Rise - building secure technology to restore access to education for Afghan girls.
Director of Education & Training
Graduate in Mathematics from Kabul Polytechnic University. Former Senior Education Officer and Trainer with the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan, with over 21 years of experience designing and delivering educational programmes across Afghanistan.
Legal Advisor & Lecturer
Holds a PhD, LLM, and LLB. Advises Afghan Rise on governance, compliance, and legal questions, and also contributes as a lecturer - bringing advanced academic depth to teaching and programme quality as the platform grows.
Volunteer Teacher & Canada Support
Graduate in Physics from Nangarhar University. Based in Canada, he supports Afghan Rise remotely as a volunteer teacher and general team contributor - assisting with lesson delivery, student guidance, and coordination from abroad.
Volunteer Finance & Accounts
Graduate in Accounting. Supports Afghan Rise voluntarily with bookkeeping, financial planning, and accounts structure - helping prepare the organisation for future growth. All roles are unpaid; we are building carefully before any formal budget exists.
Lecturer - Probability & Statistical Mathematics
Lectures on probability and statistical mathematics for Afghan Rise, and also supports events and community outreach - connecting the mission with supporters, charities, councils, and partners who can help girls keep learning.
Lead Instructor & Operations Support
Graduate in Civil Engineering. Serves as a lead instructor on the platform and supports day-to-day operations across Afghan Rise - helping coordinate learning delivery and broader organisational work.
Lecturer - Electrical Physics
Graduate in Electrical Physics from Kabul Polytechnic University. Brings classroom and technical teaching experience to Afghan Rise as a volunteer lecturer - helping design and deliver structured lessons for girls on the waiting list.
